My apologies to you,

I got SO excited about sewing these rows together,

I forgot to take a picture of the sewn row!

LOL!

The next row is the 4 hexagon row

I thought you might like to see the back... 

Notice the grey "diamonds"...

Here's a TIP!

I split the seam in the middle so each point could lay flat!

This really will help with the bulk of the seam allowances building up.

When sewing the ROWS together

It's important to get the points matching!

Here's how to do it...

With right sides together,

take a pin and put it through the top

POINT

of each triangle where the seam should be.

Leave the pin straight through the fabric

(as you see on the left of the picture below)

then take a different pin and going in at an angel,

pin the point together so the points are still matching

(as you see on the right of the picture).

Here's a close up of where to put your pin. 

Sew the rows together now

and this is where we are so far!
